24 Hours with the Cadillac CTS V Coupe

Classic of Atlanta

I recently got to chance to spend 24 hours with the 2011 Cadillac CTS V Coupe. As you guys know, I test drive cars and blog about them in a moms point of view. I let you know how I like them and what my family thinks. I’m not a professional car person but I love to drive and I love vehicles. I went to pick up the Cadillac CTS V Coupe at Classic Atlanta located in Sandy Springs,Ga. As soon as I entered the dealership I was greeted with friendly smiles. Everyone was happy to see lil ol me!

I met Peter,Sue and more staff who showed me all the bells and whistles on the car. The handsome Michael then came down, who is the President of the company. He said,” Tami I am giving you my own personal car”. I was already nervous about driving this $80,000 car but he had just added a bit more stress lol.

I told him that I would take very good care of his baby and would treat it like my own. A few posts back you may remember that I drove the Cadillac CTS Wagon & Cadillac SRX. All these cars ride wonderfully but this V Coupe was the real deal! It reminded me of being in a luxury sports car. The way the bucket seats felt, the wire mesh grilles, power dome hood, wider tires and large brake calipers,it was in a class all by itself!

The  V8 motor was purring and I was happy to oblige in taking it on the freeway for a spin. Peter told me it goes from 0 to 60 in under 3.3 seconds, and yes he was correct. I got plenty of looks on the freeway, out grocery shopping, running errands and more! I did notice that a lot of men gave me thumbs up at traffic lights lol.

Trunk space for shopping

Night out on the town at Fox Theatre

I had to run errands and get groceries for the family and I found that the trunk space was very accommodating. When my kids got home from school they asked me to take a spin in the car. My son loves cars too, he liked the Bose sound system and my daughter liked the sunroof. I later went out on a night on the town with some fellow bloggers to see Dreamgirls as I pulled up to Valet in the car. It got lots of looks, I was feeling glamourous! I loved the charcoal grey color too, I usually get red cars lol. I want to thank my new friends at Classic of Atlanta and Justin Epstein for setting it up. I had a great experience with the new Cadillac CTS V Coupe!
