34th Annual Mayor’s Masked Ball In Atlanta

Last night I attended a very elegant affair! I must say though, I get a kick out of going to the Annual Mayor’s Masked Ball here in Atlanta, that is held at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. Each year thousands come out and get all dolled up to walk the red carpet plus do it all for a great cause! This year, the ball raised over 1.5 million dollars which proceeds benefit the United Negro College Fund. During the event, it was a VIP Masked Award Reception, the Ron Clark Academy performed, there was a robust Silent Holiday Auction, then there was a Red Carpet Parade of Stars into the ballroom, Elegant Dining, Dancing and Live Entertainment. It was something to see for sure! Later on in the evening, there was a performance by singer Tyrese Gibson. It was a very lovely event and I had such a great time!

UNCF is helping to prepare young men and women for the workforce by providing assistance for textbooks and other college costs. As a result of the success of the UNCF Mayor’s Masked Ball Atlanta, thousands of students have a brighter future because of the support they have received.  More than 600 students in the past few years attending UNCF member schools were either able to attend college and or continue their college education without interruption of financial challenges. Inside please check out a few snaps from the affair…..
