6th Annual Black Doll Affair Hat Brunch

Hello lovelies! If you guys are not familiar with Black Doll Affair created and founded by Dana Hill, you have to check out the site for this uplifting & inspiring organization. The premise of this non profit organization is to uplift black girls and women of all shades and colors across the world. Since the recent kidnapping of the Nigerian girls, this program is definitely much needed to teach our young ladies that we are worthy and not just what the media portrays us to be in the media.

Dana held her 6th Annual Black Doll Affair Hat Brunch on Sunday, May 4th at Olmsted at Article 14, hosted by Dr. Courtney Hammonds with special guest speaker Yvette Caslin from Rolling Out Magazien. There was also a special performance by singer B Angie B and a hat fashion show. It was a very lovely affair and it felt good to fellowship with fashionable women with like mines. Check out a few snaps from the event below.

Sidenote: I loved how Dana handmade Hue Barbie Awards for special members of her organization, too cute for words. Especially since I’m a Barbie collector. The dolls awards read “you rock” too fabulous! xoxo
