Americas Mart Gift Show, Day 2

Yesterday I was at the gift show at Americas Mart to see vendors latest products. It was something to see this year! If you’re looking for great gift items or more, this is the place to come! I met some fab people while there and saw some old friends so let’s get started!

First up, I stopped by my fav booth BloemBox! They created cute lil flower filled boxes. Inside they have seeds that blooms into beautiful flowers! They have been featured in Oprah’s Magazine and more. Next I stopped at a kewl booth called, Zippies. They had collectible I.D. Tags that you can place on your kids water bottles or back packs. My kids definitely need that lol. Stretchy Shapes was in the building too. My kids have hundreds of them and their all the craze now!

We then saw my fav gal Joanne from EmersonStreet. They launched a new line of collegiate wear! I tried on the Ga State plush robe and she was wearing the Ga State jammies. We then saw some cool rubber watches by Swagn. The owner Brian said they are all the craze and lots of celebs and kids wear them. I then saw a fun chic booth! Gail is the owner of LA Indulgence. She makes fun bathe and shower hats lol. I loved the Pink Passion shower cap!

Next I stopped at Bedheads Pajamas. If you watch my live webshow on Mondays, I always do my show in my pj’s. Beadhead sponsors my pj’s most of the time. Joanne told me that they have a new soft stretch line! I loved soo many of them,it was hard to pick a favorite!  After chatting with them I went over to some of my fav jewelry designers. First John Wind who was wearing my fav color pink!

BedHead Pajamas new line

John showed me his latest line, which looked very red carpet like! He has been featured in InStyle with his jewelry line and soo many other magazines. He said he had to make me a matching necklace for my bracelets that he sent me.  Then I stopped by BittersweetDesigns. Laurie makes the most romantic looking necklaces and earrings. I get a kick out of going to see her booth design. It’s so shabby chic. She has some great new pieces …luv.

While walking around I ran into Jonathan Adler. He is the designer that makes great pottery and a lot of his work is in Barneys. He does interior design too and Pia and I went to hear him speak. He talked about how he got started and his terrible teacher in high school that told him he would not make it in art(J.Akey Rice) lol. He also spoke of getting fired at numerous jobs before finding his true calling. He was fun to listen to and had great design tips.He said be believes in “A dash of hippy and dallup of socialite”.He loves happy chic!

Be Good To People

I met some new friends too with a cool positive company called, BeGoodToPeople. They started the company just because of what it says. Everything is black and white. They were nice to talk with.

By this time Pia and I was exhausted lol. The last stop of the day was the cute company called Moore Moore Moore! She doesnt have her website up yet but Lisa was a hoot. She is all about big and glamour. She had fun blingy jewelry and bracelets, aprons and more! Her booth made me smile!  She has totes, bags, party items, wearables and it just goes on and on. We had fun hanging out with each other. She was very proud of her monogrammed removable stickers that you can place anywhere. Look out for her all new website coming soon.

Well this was day two of the mart and I plan on going back one more day. I just have to fit it in my schedule lol. I would like to thank Americas Mart for allowing me to come down to check out all the new things. If your interested in going down to the mart it will be until next tuesday.
