TalkingWithTami: Hello Roger I met you awhile ago and you always have your books in tow. Tell us how you started writing books?
I started writing books while i was seperated from my wife at the time. I was married for 21 years and just got divorced and while i was seperated the pain of the seperation process prompted me to start writing. I never thought i would be writing book’s in a million years but adversity moved my mind and heart into that direction.
TalkingWithTami: You have written several books, tell us about your latest one?
My latest book is scheduled to be released by the end of 2009. It is Titled, 50 REASON’S AND MORE WHY SOME BLACK MEN MIGHT CHEAT!
TalkingwithTami: Do you think that reading has become a lost art among our youth?
I think that the youth of today need to start reading more books and they also need to take advantage of modern technology such as e-books and other on line book sites. It’s no excuse for any of the youth of today to ignore knowledge of any source when it comes to reading, but i still think that it’s a lot of lot of youth that are still reading and love the art of reading. The art of reading for our youth isn’t totally dead just remember knowledge is alway’s going to be power.
TalkingWithTami: Besides writing, what’s another passion you have?
I have another passion and it’s music i’m connected to some heavy hitter’s in the industry. I have a music website being developed called DISCOVERED BY A BEAT this is a site that will allow any and everyone a chance to be discovered by there musical talent. The music site will allow us to send any form of music to some of the top movers and shaker in the business for a cost of $19.95 a month. This site will cater to songwriters,artist,producers,choreographers anything pertaining to the industry we will have it.
