What an amazing time I had this morning shooting for fashion designer Reco Chapple! He has a new collection for the more “curvier” fashionista and guess who got a chance to model for him? Thats right your girl! It was a very early shoot at Derek Blanks Studio but I was right on time plus you guys know I wasn’t missing out on a photoshoot, no mam!

We all vibed really well which is extremely important with Reco! He likes things to move quickly and everything to be extremely polished. He is a stickler for taste with his brand and who represents it! I asked him why he chose me for the shoot and he said I was fun and had great energy! Awh, so sweet of him! I met inspiring model Nell Coleman who is gorgeous! We got a long really well! She just moved to Atlanta this year and is trying to build her portfolio! I know she will do well!
It was my first time working with celebrity makeup artist Kelvin but boy can he beat a face down, yes gawd! I felt so pretty when he finished! Reco was very hands on and even did my nails for me! He did most of the shots because I was too busy prancing around and dancing, yall know me! Nell and I got busy shooting and had a blast working together! I can’t wait to show you guys the photos tomorrow morning! They new line of dresses will be on House of Chapple website soon! They will retail for $79.99! I have one and it fits and feels like butter! It’s comfy, roomy, chic looking and the extra long length makes the dress look very sexy! I love it and you will too! Reco wanted me to let you guys know that women come in all shapes and sizes and we all want to feel and look pretty!
People kept asking Reco if he could show a model wearing his designs that wasn’t so small, so they could get an idea of what other sized women would look like in his pieces. Thats when I was asked to model and I was so honored! I thought the shoot went really well and thanks to the staff, Reco and the glam squad for a fun filled day!
