My favorite fashion trend for the season has to be pastels. These soft tones are such a departure from the usual bold summer colors, but they still pop. Cotton candy pink, orange sherbet, mint green, sky blue… Mmm mmm. So delicious.

I am loving the black and white trend for summer. Whether you are mixing things up with a graphic print or wearing them as solids, black & white is always effortless and totally chic. You can take the trend from day to play and easily transition your black pieces to fall.

I’m really torn between florals and colored suits for men. Yes, guys, it’s OKAY to wear a suit that is not black, navy or gray. But if I had to choose just one summer trend it would have to be florals. Floral prints are everywhere – shirts, dresses, pants, blazers – and you can find them at J Crew to Rebecca Minkoff, everywhere. They are the perfect look for summer and they’re even on trend with the guys!
