What an amazing time I had during the Essence Street Style Awards Block Party that took place on Sunday! I have never been around so many stylish people in my life and the positive energy there was MAD crazy! I love my people I really do, we have a lot of flavor I will tell you that! Everyone there was so inviting and many people in the crowd recognized me and came up and said they were fans of the blog and wanted to take pics! That really meant a lot to me because I do know that New York City is my highest traffic area, so shout out to New York City and to Brooklyn! It was my first time riding the subway and visiting Dumbo, Brooklyn and I had a blast! My head was spinning from looking at all the dope style, the makeup, the hairdos. Lots of pretty people rocking natural hair like here in Atlanta, I loved it all! Shout out to my photographer Leandra (who lives in NYC) for capturing so many beautiful faces in the crowd!
