Budget Friendly Holiday Decorating Ideas

holiday decor

Are you guys getting ready for the holidays? Although I do not have my Christmas tree up as of yet because I am kinda superstitious in some ways, I usually wait till after Thanksgiving to get started on decorating. I still have been hunting around town for cute holiday decorating ideas though. One of my favorite places to shop at is my local Goodwill of North Georgia! I must admit that where I live, they have some REALLY good items in there that people donate. If you are frugal like me or just want to shop on a budget, you can really find some great things, if you have the patience, time and a good eye.

I have told you guys in the past that Goodwill is my go to place for some of my evening attire for red carpets, home decor items and more! If you are a DIY kinda person or pretty handy like my husband, you should consider stopping in your local Goodwill. They have great budget friendly options to complete your family’s holiday decorating too. Take a peek inside on what I found at my local store and a few decorating tricks & tips…

Donations to Goodwill are sold in stores to not just help those looking for inexpensive items. All proceeds help to support the mission of putting people to work too. This year Goodwill will help 20,000 people in North Georgia find jobs. They are also celebrating their 90th birthday. They are also celebrating 90 years of putting people to work in North Georgia!

Goodwill offers a number of items to help families decorate for the holidays. Items can be upcycled to create unique, budget-friendly décor. With Goodwill, holiday decor has never been easier or more friendly on the wallet!

At Goodwill, our mission is a simple one: we put people to work. Every day, thousands of men and women face barriers that make it difficult for them to find work and earn a paycheck to support their families. Sometimes it’s lack of training or education, limited job skills, or a disability. But with the support of donors and shoppers like you, we overcome those barriers. Goodwill gives people the tools they need to find a job, which allows them to support themselves and their families.

I found this sparkly wreath, which is perfect and matches my holiday decor! It was only $4.95 what a steal! I think I will place this in my hallway on the wall or on my backdoor, not sure yet.
