When I got into this entertainment business, I noticed that I started getting a lot of request for friendship on facebook and follows on twitter from my ex’s. Yes I said Ex’s, a diva had them lined up, I’m just playing,but serious as a heart attack lol. Many moons ago when I got married I started hearing, hey you know you have to throw away your lil pink book. I would look at people very strangely and wonder why they kept saying that to me.
My husband still talks to his ex girlfriends and mainly because a lot of them still live on his grandparents street lol. I’ve met a couple of them and I don’t really see anything wrong with it.
I think it’s also a double standard with men and women too because my ex’s were NFL players,NBA players, doctors and one male exotic dancer lol. A lot of people would think that I would stray away or go back to them because of their status. If it’s my ex, trust me it’s going to stay that way. My grandma NuNu always told me to move forward not backwards.
I have always been honest with my husband and let him know what I am up to. I have said, hey I have to meet such and such to pick up something or I have to do this for that person. I have always kept the lines of communication open with my hubby and we both have no concerns in that area.

It always seems as though “others” have an issue with how we operate our relationship though lol. Maybe they are insecure within themselves and would be weak to meeting up with an ex but it just doesn’t effect me that way.
I have never had any problems with any of my ex’s and broke up with them either because of trying to have a long distance relationship, college issues or something minor but nothing really bad except for the dude he got a chic preggers lol.
I think if others would talk to their mate, things would be soo much better. I’m glad my hubby and I have great lines of communication open and that we are able to be mature adults. You never know, you may have to ask for a favor from your ex lol. How do you deal with this situation?
