Carnival time with kids

Yesterday my friend reminded me that there was a carnival right down the street from my house! I haven’t taken my kids to a carnival in such a long time. I decided to take them. I never tell my kids where we are going either because they are the type that will worry you to death! I told them to get ready and  we hopped in the bat mobile and headed there. When we arrived they started to see the lights and were very excited and beat me out of the car lol.

I remember this carnival coming to discover mills, last year but just kinda forgot about it. Things have changed soo much since I’ve been to a carnival, when I was a teenager. First thing the prices of entry and food, wow! It has gotten to be  so expensive and plus it seems so boring to me now. I remember hanging out at the carnival all day, times have changed.I tried not to be a sour puss and let my kids ride n ride and enjoy themselves. Even though I thought it  was a waste of time and money, my kids don’t understand all of that, they just wanted to have fun lol.

My daughter Dootie is a dare devil like me and loves speed and rollercoasters. Every since I think she was 2 years old, she has been liking slides and going fast. She was the first to ride some spinning ride(after they had just ate dinner) and I was scared she was going to barf. She rode that ride going up and down and sideways like a big trooper. My son was like um no mommy, I want something a bit more calm lol.

I’m glad we got a chance to get out and enjoy the day. As soon as they got in the car they were knocked out! I might take them back again before they leave because if they can go to sleep that fast its worth the money tee hee! Thats a great way to get them to go to bed, hmm?  It was nice to see smiles on their faces.
