Hey guys! Celebrity hairstylist Michael Wray did my hair again today and I thought I would do an impromptu interview with him and ask a few questions about healthy hair, wearing hair color,styling aids and more. As you know in this industry hairstylists come and go and I’ve experienced this from time to time. Michael has been doing my  hair off and on for a few months now and I love his work ethic, keeping my hair healthy & beautiful and most importantly his professionalism! What hairstyles are you loving for this season? I love the ‘undercut’ (shaving the sides, leaving the top full) for short hairstyles, for longer hair I love added extensions with lots of volume and if you are going to wear your hair long, wear it longer lol!

What is the hot hair color for Spring/Summer? It always depends on your skin tone and lifestyle. It also depends on the hue you go with that matches your lifestyle and profession. My favorite hair color is medium to light blonde. To achieve a quick color change add extensions if you like to change up your hair color a lot.

What is a great shampoo & conditioner for someone who takes care of their hair at home? There is a whole host of shampoos and conditioners for the consumers, choosing a product requires knowledge of your hair type and what your hair needs. If your hair is dry, then you need a moisturizer hair care system, if you have thin or limp hair you need a volumizing shampoo & conditioner, it just depends on addressing the needs of the hair.

Which celebrity hairstyle are you loving right now? I am loving Nicki Minaj new toned down look, it’s still very eye catching to me.

What styling aids do you suggest? In choosing appropriate styling aids, straightening serums provides a sleek polished straight look. It also takes care of fly-aways, tames the hair and more. It doesn’t leave the hair oily looking either. Hair sprays that are light and provide all-day-hold without the crunchy feeling work great for extra volume and to keep hair curly.
