Hello lovelies! I’m continuing my coverage of The Toyota Camry Southern Road Trip. On Wednesday, October 18th we all woke up to sunny skies and a warm day in Savannah Georgia. We ate breakfast at Mansion at Forsyth Park then headed out for an early morning Bonaventure Cemetery Tour. Here we learned about so many prominent people who have since passed on. I thought I wasn’t going to like this part of the tour but after listening to the tour guide, I found it completely fascinating. It was actually quite relaxing and peaceful. After the tour we jumped back in the Camrys and stopped in Saint Simons, Georgia for lunch. I loved this area and we got to see people fish and catch blue crabs!
The food was really good too and so fresh. We walked around at the marina and snapped a few photos because the lighthouses and view was excellent! After lunch, we continued our drive to St. Augustine, Florida. I really loved this city and we settled in at our hotel at Casa Monica Resort then headed off to see the city. Later we all met up and had our final dinner at Collage Restaurant. Check out all the photos inside and again I would like to shout out Toyota for making so many wonderful memories for me, each city was unique in it’s own way and I really loved visiting Charleston out of all the cities we toured, it just had that real southern charm to it and I felt at home! More pics and info inside…

Ok, next stop St. Augustine, Florida
Just kicking it with my gal pals!
St. Simons is an island off the Georgia coast. It’s known for its salt marshes and sandy stretches like East Beach. A museum traces the history of St. Simons Lighthouse, rebuilt in 1872 after it was destroyed in the Civil War. Anglers fish off nearby St. Simons Pier, which offers views of Jekyll Island and migrating whales. North, boats travel to Little St. Simons Island, home to birds like spoonbills and gannets.
