Comedian DC Young Fly Host Private Screening Of ‘Uncharted’ And Five Things You Will Like About The Film

Hey guy, the other night Sony Pictures invited me out to a private screening of Uncharted starring Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg. My son had been talking about this movie for quite awhile especially since he is a gamer lol. So when I told him I was attending this screening, he was too excited.

We made our way down to Ipic theater in Midtown where we found out that Comedian DC Youngfly was hosting the screening and he introduced the film. He was accompanied by his girlfriend Jacky Oh and both were extremely nice! As far as the movie, it was a bit long but good. Inside I have five fun things about the movie but don’t forget to check it out, its in theaters today! More inside….

Five Things You Will Like About Uncharted:

  • Has a ton of action scenes, from the plane fight scene, foot chases, pirate cruise ship scenes, it was a lot to see! Tom Holland was quoted as saying that the stunts were the hardest action scenes he’s ever made!
  • Shot in beautiful locations, mostly shot in Berlin, Germany
  • It’s follows the story of all the best Uncharted video games. Based on the Naughtly Dog Video game franchise
  • Good to see Actor Tom Holland range from playing Spider Man

I give the movie a B+ and it would be a great date night movie or for young adults to see.

Street-smart thief Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) is recruited by seasoned treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) to recover a fortune lost by Ferdinand Magellan 500 years ago. What starts as a heist job for the duo becomes a globe-trotting, white-knuckle race to reach the prize before the ruthless Moncada (Antonio Banderas), who believes he and his family are the rightful heirs. If Nate and Sully can decipher the clues and solve one of the world’s oldest mysteries, they stand to find $5 billion in treasure and perhaps even Nate’s long-lost brother…but only if they can learn to work together.
