When I got an inbox from a beauty rep asking me if I had ever tried Clinique’s Calyx, I just smiled through my laptop. She didn’t know the backstory at all but I was happy to try this fragrance! It brought back so many memories for me!
When I was a teenager, this use to be my mom’s favorite fragrance! I always sat down next to her and watched her get dressed and do her makeup and hair. She never really wore a lot of perfume because she said they would make her sick but one perfume that didn’t bother her was Calyx. When I received the box in the mail and opened it, it brought back some happy times that me and my mom shared. Perfume is one thing that me and my mom have in common, both of us love anything that smells good. We both also love floral and fruity scents. Now that I’ve moved away from my mom, I will have to call her to see if she still wears it lol. I haven’t had a chance to look at her perfume tray in awhile.
