I had a grand time attending the Meet & Mingle at the Louis Vuitton store September 17 hosted by Kijafa Frink. Engaged to Eagles Quarterback Michael Vick, Kijafa also co-owns PNK Elephant. The Eagles play the Atlanta Falcons in Atlanta on September 18 and Kijafa wanted the wives and mates from both teams to meet up for a little shopping and to get to know each other at the fabulous luxury store at Lenox Mall.

As I entered the store, decked out women were sipping from champagne flutes and nibbling on bites courtesy of the store. The first question I asked Kajifa was “why the Louis Vuitton store?” Simply, she fell in love with the Fall Collection. The animal print dresses, shoes and booties – the entire runway collection was awesome, she felt.

Kajifa introduced me to some of the Eagles’ wives and mates: running back #36 Ronnie Brown’s wife Taylor, Jeniva Barret who is engaged to cornerback # 22 Asante Samuel, Amani Hassoun who dates cornerback #21 Joselio Hanson and Shamira Thompson who dates offensive linebacker #51 Jamar Chaney. A chatty friendly bunch, these ladies love Louis Vuitton as well. Other attendees were NFL wife Camilla Jones, Jewelry Designer Lena Danielle, Dr. Zelda Pittman, Tameka Foster Raymond, Lisa Wu Hartwell, and many other socialites.

The wonderful LV staff had some of the girls model the Fall Collection. We swooned over each piece. We also got to see the latest footwear and handbags. Most of the ladies I chatted with are frequent shoppers of the store and love to buy their handbags paired with matching shoes. I admired so many of the ladies stilettos. In a word: fabulous!
