Texas born singer Erykah Badu covers the August issue of Essence Magazine. It was the magazine’s first time doing a global photoshoot over in Kenya as well! Erykah rocked many tribal designer pieces for the cover shoot and I love her style! Check out more inside!

Woo hoo. These pictures are amazing. I am so happy to see a beautiful cover. Essence always has beautiful pictures on the covers but over the years they seem to have lost that edginess. These photos are wonderful.
