Congrats goes out to the owner of Slutty Vegan, Aisha “Pinky” Cole. She just opened her latest location in Jonesboro, Ga today and I had the pleasure of stopping by to check it out! I have always wanted to try this vegan restaurant but every time I tried, the line would be wrapped around the corner. I always walked away disappointed, even after a long drive there. Today, I was invited out to a soft opening of the latest location and it was packed with people wanting to get a taste of these famous “Slutty Burgers” and more!
They passed out samples of food and sweet treats all day, practiced social distancing and there was a live dj! I got my food to go and ate my burger and fries from the comfort of my home. I must say it was really good and will try to visit again soon! This Slutty Vegan restaurant also has a full bar that’s different from the other locations.
If you didn’t know, Cole made the news here in Atlanta a few weeks back for helping Tomika Miller (the widow of Rayshard Brooks) with a brand new car, it was such a touching story! Try this vegan spot if you’re in the area or plan on visiting Atlanta, it’s the hottest place in town and I highly recommend it! More pics inside, stay safe out there!
