Fresh linens

I dont know about you but I get extra excited looking for great linens. Im not a stickler about the thread count of sheets and comforters as long as it looks pretty and its soft, you have a sell from me. I am learning the proper terms for linens, like when I was watching a movie a long time ago called, 9 1/2 weeks.

Mickey Rourke and Kim Basinger was in a furniture store and was playing around on a bed and the saleslady said, what kind of “ticking” do you want? They had no clue what she was talking about and I didn’t either lol.

I have always loved soft pale color linen but Im married and cant really decorate my bedroom the way I really want to. I can get away with some occasional light pink sheet sets here and there lol. I remember watching Rachel Ashwell on the Style network a few years ago, I fell in love with her style. She was very informative about proper linens.

I’ve always been a fan of Rachel Ashwell and her Shabby Chic decorations. Her minimal ways and soft airy down comforters and throws mades me want to crawl into bed and never get up lol. Ive only owned one white down comforter but after the hubby came along and kids, umm no thanks!

I get a kick out of shopping for pillows, sheets and comforters. Every season I like to change the colors out. I can’t stand clutter, so I usually donate my old ones to goodwills. I do have a favorite chenille comforter that I will never get rid of because it cost me a pretty penny, plus it’s very warm for winter.

Here are several pics of some of Rachel Ashwells bedding, its so sweet looking and feels great. She has an online store and you can also get her things in Target. Enjoy and sweet dreams.
