Last week I was invited out to Los Angeles and I got the opportunity to take someone with me. Ofcourse the first person I thought to bring was my husband but he was working and the event I was attending was during the work week. So I had to scratch that idea and then I thought to bring my daughter Dootie. She had never been to L.A. so she was super excited when I asked her if she wanted to tag along. My son Pootie is not really one for traveling, atleast that’s what he says. He was just excited that we girls was leaving him the whole house for peace and quiet lol. His words was…”pack the fridge and make sure you pay wifi and cell phone bill lol. He is too funny and such the introvert.
After packing our suitcases, we were off to the airport really early. I booked us on the first flight out because I wanted Dootie to see as much as we could in 24 hours. Although it was a short trip to Los Angeles, we got a lot of sight seeing done. We stayed in West Beverly Hills, at the posh W Hotel and we both really liked the hotel. We then jumped back in an uber and headed off to lunch on Rodeo Drive and did a little shopping. Dootie did some live vlogging for her Youtube channel and I just snapped lots of photos. Later that evening we got all dressed up for the Hollywood Premiere of La La Land. It was a perfect evening and during the whole trip, it was a great bonding experience with my daughter. The next day we got up early had breakfast and then Dootie wanted to visit Venice Beach. It was beautiful out there and I want to go back so bad because it was so much to see and do out there! Check out a few snaps from the trip and I want to thank Lionsgate for the experience.
