Fun Times At Martin’s Garden At Coleman Farms

Yesterday morning I ventured off to Roswell, Ga to a neat farm called, Martin’s Garden at Coleman Farms. I had never heard of it but I had met a nice lady by the name of Erin Champion (who owns Posie Fields). I was looking for someone that had a flower cart for a future event I’m having and came across her instagram. I hit Erin up and we started chatting about her organically grown flower farm that she has and how she wanted me to come out and visit. I was extremely happy and those that know me well, know I LOVE flowers! I was super happy to drive up and meet her!

Once my friend Jen and I arrived, Erin told me how she even got interested in flowers and her business. It was not an easy task as we all know opening any type of business can be pretty challenging and ofcourse working with flowers. I had no clue what was all entailed, I always buy fresh flowers from the local market or from a stand. She actually “grows” her own flowers and said that she was always drawn to making beautiful things. Erin was a nanny for the Martin’s (who owns the farm) and she eventually ventured off into planting her own flowers on their land. That’s how Posie Fields was born and she has grown tremendously in just three years, wow!

You can now find Erin’s Poise Fields flower cart at The Farmer’s Market, The Avalon and several florists around the city. I was so happy to see all the rows of flowers and she educated me on all of the blooms and how to pick them and make a lovely bouquet. She had rows and rows of annuals, perennials, sunflowers and more! She also showed me her studio where all the magic happens and how she dries out flowers too. It was such a fun experience and we plan on working together in the near future! Enjoy all the images that Erin helped me take, she is pretty fancy with the camera as well lol. Thanks Erin for the fun experience and you can contact her for private events etc.
