Get The Look: M.A.C Is Beauty Spring Collection

If you’ve been wondering why you haven’t seen my makeup artist Alex on the blog in awhile, that is because Nordstrom at Mall of Ga finally closed last month and ofcourse I was devastated! That was literally minutes from my house and I would frequent there to the M.A.C counter to have Alex do my face for special events or just to hang out with her and go to lunch. She is long gone now and has moved all the way up to Gainesville, Ga to manage the M.A.C store that is brand new inside of Belks. I headed up that way this morning to check out her new location and to say hello, since I haven’t seen my beauty queen in awhile!

I’m actually nominated for a blogger’s award from Sheen Magazine this evening, so I had Alex do my face with the new M.A.C Is Beauty Spring Collection. We had so much fun catching up and I took a few pictures of her new M.A.C store. Check it out inside and how to create this simple look. Fashion Designer Reco Chapple is designing me a custom gown to wear tonight, all I know is that it’s peach in color and thats about it! He has always been that way, giving me too much to work with, it drives me insane but it always works out in the end lol.

If you live by Gainesville, Ga check out my girl Alex at the M.A.C counter, she can use the company because chile, this is out in the sticks lol! From Mall of Ga it took me about 20 minutes to get there and the traffic wasn’t bad at all. You go straight up 985 North and get off at exit 20. Use your GPS for the rest of the directions. Inside Lakeshore Mall, there are a few select stores, but nothing like a regular mall that you would expect. One lady walked up to Alex while she was doing my face and asked if she had any Revlon lol. I almost fell out but bless her heart! Up there, some folks still don’t know what M.A.C Cosmetics is, wow! xoxo
