Glitz to Glamour will be a new installment to my blog. I thought it would be fun to show you guys some of the celebs that I’ve interviewed over the years and show you what they are up to today. First up is Kandi Burruss.
I had been on the scene for maybe 2 years when I finally got to meet Ms.Kandi. It was T.I.’s dinner party held at the W Hotel in midtown. He was getting recognized for his efforts with a new album and he invited the media out. In comes Kandi and I didn’t really know who she was but my camera guy did. I must admit, I’m not really a music buff so he informed me that she was a former member of the group Xscape.

She was nice and took a picture with me. The pic was taken 4 years ago. I have now been around her a few more times and she has warmed up to me. I know celebs have to be very cautious when dealing with the media because some can be a mess lol. So now we are cordial and she remembers my name when we sees me out lol. She always looks nice when I see her and I compliment her on those outfits and killer shoes!
Today, Kandi is rocking and rolling! The Diva has a new hairdo,attitude and a lot going on! She is an accomplished songwriter,producer,new cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, boutique owner of Tags and she has launched a Ustream show called, Kandi coated nights. She also released a new single, Leave U and the album will be out later called, B.L.O.G. The new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta premieres Oct. 4th on Bravo. She’s still single, raising her daughter Riley.
