Greater Atlanta McDonald’s Franchisees Award 40,000 Of Golden Grants To Top Education Professionals

Greater Atlanta McDonald’s Owner/Operators surprised a representative from the Paulding County School District as well as a representative from the Newton County Foundation for Educational Excellence with $20,000 and $10,000, respectively as the top two winners of the Golden Grants program.

Golden Grants is an Atlanta-exclusive grant program that launched in September 2018 as a resource for teachers and other individuals who are committed to fueling and inspiring K-12 student learning. This program is funded by Atlanta McDonald’s Owner/Operators and offers one grant for $20,000 one for $10,000 and 10 for $1,000 totaling $40,000.

I got a chance to witness this today at the State Capitol and it was truly wonderful to see all the smiles of the recipients receive their checks today! Check out a few pictures inside and congrats to all the winners! Thanks McDonald’s for having me!
