I hope that you had a Very Merry Christmas! I enjoyed my family immensely and we just sat around and ate a few times, went to the movies and pulled out old photos and reminisced. I came across one of the only photos of me as a little girl sitting on Santa’s lap.It was my very first Christmas. I don’t really remember much about my childhood holidays, I think I blocked it out lol.
My kids are both teenagers now, so I didn’t go through all the wrapping of gifts, putting up a big ol tree, decorating the house and all of that. I can be a scrooge at times but hey my kids are older now and it’s more work for me than them lol. My husband and I handed the kids envelopes with lots of cash and debit/gift cards, so that they could buy whatever their hearts desire! Plus when we buy them things they never like it lol. My hubby and I never really exchange gifts because he gets my gifts wrong and he never asks for anything. He says it’s all about the kids.
We always opt out for dinner and a movie, something we both enjoy. I did think it was kinda cool that reality star Marlo Hampton sent me a Christmas Card and inside she always encloses a lottery scratch off. How about I won! I was too excited! I hope that you had a fantastic time with your family or extended family and I’m so blessed to see another Christmas with my own! What did you guys do? Any family traditions? What did Santa bring yah? xoxo

Girl.. I feel you! MIne was pretty lowkey!
Christmas was fun – very draining. You know we still do the whole wrapping gifts, decorating the house, and everything…. so totally exhausted. But the boys got what they wanted, and were happy.
