Introducing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle! They were stunning as they rode in an Ascot Landau carriage after their wedding ceremony at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on Saturday May 19, 2018 in Wndsor, England. Did you guys get to watch this spectacular wedding? I was up very early with my spot of tea just mesmerized on how lovely everything was! I loved Meghan’s haute couture custom gown by Givenchy designed by Clare Waight Keller. The veil was to represent the distinctive flora of each Commonwealth country united in one composition. Later she changed into a Stella McCartney high neck gown.
Her dress was a bit plain for my taste but the tiara gave it that extra sparkle lol. She wore Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau tiara, which was lent to her by the Queen. It was made in 1932. I have enjoyed watching the Royal weddings over the years. I had to do a double take when I saw Prince Harry walking down that aisle, that’s one handsome young fellow whew! I wish them many years of happiness together, I LOVE their LOVE, so cute and they look really fun together!
Sidenote: A few years ago, here in Atlanta, I got to interview Sarah Duchess of York, at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Ronald McDonald House. I took my son along with me and dressed him up in a cute navy suit. He loves photography and still does, so I told him he was my official photographer for the day. He snapped pictures of her as she posed for him with security by her side. She loved him and everyone thought he was so cute taking pics of her, he made it to the AJC newspaper! He asked her politely to move this way, ok right there lol. Afterwards, Fergie gave him an autographed copy of her children’s book too. I said, “Pootie you just shot royalty”, he had no idea who she was but he just smiled. My son had to be 8 yrs old back then lol. More pics inside, enjoy your day!
