I need to take more trips if its going to give me an imagination like Marche Sparks lol. I met Ms. Marche at Best of Atlanta a couple of days ago. She was the sweetest lady and she was so enthusiastic and passionate about her peanut butter at the event. I was hesitant about eating peanut butter, but hers was a gourmet kind, so I tried it a fell in love. She told me she had a lil cafe/market store in the Kirkwood area of Atlanta. I told her I would stop by some time.lepetit-007

Well today was the day that my hubby and I traveled to try, “LePetit Marche” french for lil market. How cute is that name! Whats so funny is that Marche ‘s name means the same thing! It was meant to be I think..wink! When we arrived I knew it was going to be something special because of the signage out front. I just got goose bumps as my hubby started sweatin because he was for sure I would start impulse shopping lol.

When we walked in I immediately fell in love with the decor. Shabby Chic you guys! I had died and went to vintage and distress heaven! You guys know I love shabby chic and Rachel Ashwell! Well Marche told me that a design company called,Grafite(www.grafiteink.com) designed mostly everything in the store. Marche got the inspiration for the store from a  trip to France. The entreprenuerist told me that she is originally from Los Angeles and only been in Atlanta a few years and loves it. She will be celebrating her one year anniversary on Feb 21! Congrats to her!

Marche had a career in real estate, (and we all know whats going on with that) when she told me she quickly thought of a plan B. She stated to me, “its always good to have a backup plan”. Well her back up plan worked out just fine! With her whitty real estate skills she found a great location. She told me they are really rebuilding the Kirkwood area, and she plans on being around for awhile. I talked to some customers who were eating and buying coffee they said they loved the atmosphere and the food. One customer Jarvis who is a regular said,” Marche gives you that extra level of customer service”. We all need to take heed to those comments because in todays world, everything is either automated or computerized which I cant stand, so a lil human kindness and warmth is always appreciated! I also met her dad who was such a sweetie! Mr.Isaac Sparks was refilling the coffee  and restocking the shelves and you can tell he is very proud of his daughter. Awh!lepetit-005

The market, store, cafe has so much to offer. You can have breakfast, lunch, work on your computer, buy a gift or just come in to listen to some jazz tunes and sip your french press coffee. I know I will be coming back because I enjoyed it that much. My hubby and I ordered the Spicy Italian Panini for 7.55,pasta, and some brownies which were very good. Everything was served on vintage chinaware that was so dainty and cute! My hubby didnt get it, its a girlie thing..Ha! Le Petit Marche is open daily M-F 7-4pm and Sat &Sun 8-4pm. Located at 1963 Hosea L. Williams,Atlanta,Ga 30317.When you stop by tell her Tami sent yah!

I too met Marche on a night out in ATL when my husband and I were celebrating our two year anniversary. Marche told us about her restaurant/bistro and we stepped by the next day for lunch. I gotta tell ya it was awesome. The quality of the food is priceless and the service too. We dont live in ATL but I would recommend to any body in town or who is visiting to step by as it is a great lil place to enjoy great food for reasonable prices. And if you get the chance try the soups which her mother prepares, they are just fantastic.
