Little Women: Atlanta Virtual Media Teleconference

I got a chance to be included in a virtual media conference with a few cast members from Lifetime’s Little Women: Atlanta the ladies told us about the loss of their cast member Miss. Minnie (that they loss during halfway through filming), Covid-19, fashion and so much more! Season 6 of the show will air, tonight at 9pm est on Lifetime, tune in to watch! Watch the trailer inside…

Abira

How was it filming the new season during Covid-19?

It’s difficult raising 4 kids in quarantine but I’m doing ok

It was rough dealing with Covid-19 and filming but it became the new normal. We couldn’t go a lot of places or the kids had to wear masks and they all have different personalities so that was a lot too. I stick with clothing that has stretch or that I can cuff. I don’t have a seamstress or whatever.

  • I feel like the show has helped me grow into a better woman. Everyone has come from a different background and I get to recognize that.

Ms. Juicy

Said that Covid 9 has slowed her down but she is doing well.

About the passing of her castmate Miss. Minnie

You learn how to ignore a lot of the comments with what others say. They see one thing on tv and think they know you. It’s our lives. You have your fall outs and you cry. As sisters you get into fights but you make up. I didn’t let others thoughts effect me. It was hard and she was a sister to me. We are still going through it, it was shocking. Our friend is no longer here.

  • I like that we get to educate the public on dwarfism because they have a lot of misconceptions about us because we are little.

Monie

Where do you get inspiration for your style?

It is always based on my personality and I go from there. I want to be better though! Thank you so much and I appreciate that, whatever I’m feeling is what I wear.

  • I’m coming back and feel free and ready to bring it!
  • The show has helped me and gave me confidence that I didn’t have at first. It’s others that have the same disability as me and that has helped.
