Meet celebrity stylist Jon Ross! He’s the owner of Icon Styling and a very talented and seasoned wardrobe stylist here in Atlanta. He was part of the glam squad that gave me my new look yesterday. I had never heard of him but we quickly bonded when he walked in with many options for me to wear. I think he was a bit hesitant with styling me because I do have a very eclectic and whimsy sort of style but I told him I was up for anything. The dresses that he picked out for me were really great and he hit it right on the head with knowing I love to wear them!

Jon has worked with lots of celebrities and the latest show he styled for was R&B Divas with all the cast members. I asked him 5 key essential items a lady should have in her closet and here’s what he said.

I also asked Jon who he would love to work with and he quickly said Kimora Lee Simmons. He loves her height and she’s exudes class. He stated that she likes to step out of the box. His signature style is the opposite of what everyone else is doing. He enjoys and likes to style with bright fun colors. Plus, he loves dressing women to look elegant,sexy and classy.
Well he sure did style me fantastically and I loved the outfit he put me in! I wore a BCBGMAXAZRIA Rumy color-blocked dress from the Runway Fall 2012 Collection(retails for $468) Wildpair Ava platform pump(retailed for $100 now $79)with Henri Bendel Rocks Narrow Bangle(retails for $168) and a Ann Taylor necklace. I also have something to tell you guys! At most photoshoots, I wear the items and they have to be returned to the stylist, Jon told me it was all a gift to me! I almost passed out and started jumping up and down! Thanks to him and Gail Hudson for the wonderful gift,I was pleasantly surprised! Yay!!!
