Mimi G Style ‘Passion To Profit Tour’ Stops In Atlanta

One of my personal favorite bloggers is Mimi “Mimi G Style” Goodwin who made her way to Atlanta this weekend and I had to check out my girl! She is on a mini tour where she is chatting with her fans/followers about Passion To Profit! The fundamentals of starting, running and branding a creative business or blog. The event was held at the JW Marriott in Buckhead to a packed room of inspired women. It was great energy as Mimi entered the room to see so many smiling faces! We’ve been buddies for a long time and I always try to stop what I am doing to come out and support her because she has been so genuine and nice to me over the years and I wouldn’t have missed it for anything in the world. Like I said before, we have similar backgrounds, went through a lot of adversity but that has made us the women that we are today!

At the event she talked about:

Pushing Past Your circumstances

Starting your creative business

Making Social Media work for you

Why you even need a blog

Monetizing from your craft

Marketing and Branding yourself

A business model and so much more

Later, she also had a floor discussion and Q& A with the attendees

It was so much fun and I even learned some new tricks and trades that I can use. Hey, you are never too old to learn! Check Mimi’s website out to see where she is headed to next. Its always a delight to check out my fashionable buddy and oh by the way, she has a some great things coming up this year like an all-new clothing collection and tv project and so much more. Till next time! xoxo

  1. Sad that I missed but I had to see my oldest graduate. I have been following her for years. It is great to see how much her blog has evolved from her WordPress site

  2. Wasn’t the workshop wonderful!?? It was nice seeing you there. And thanks for the awesome pics you took for me on my phone. I used them on my blog.

  3. So proud and happy for Ms. Mimi – can’t wait for the projects she has for 2015!
