I was invited back to Mimi’s Cafe to try their fall menu. Mimi’s is located down the street from me outside of Mall of Georgia in Buford,Ga. I go there a lot for meetings with girlfriends or with the family. They have the best salads that I have ever tasted and I feel good about myself when I leave lol.
My girlfriend Tiff and I met there and looked over the menu. Ms.Michelle(Mgr) then came over and talked to us about the new fall menu and said it was really tasty. On the lunch menu all the entrees were 9.99 which included soup and salad. I ordered the roasted tomato soup and Tiff got the french onion. Both soups were really good and I could have had a big bowl of soup by itself, so tangy!
I then ordered the Cubano Flatbread Sandwich(whole wheat flatbread,smoked ham, swiss cheese dijon mustard,pickles and mayo) served with chips. Tiff ordered the Citrus Broiled Shrimp & Asparagus(Citrus broiled shrimp & asparagus with pesto aioli, balsamic baby greens & strawberries).
We loved both meals and I had to take half of my sandwich home, I was so stuffed.Tiff loved the seasoned shrimp. This menu is offered from 1-4pm you have to stop in and try some of the new fall entrees out! Thanks to Mimi’s for the invite out, it was really good!
