Minero Atlanta Mexican Eatery

One thing that I love about living here in Atlanta is all the restaurants! It’s a thriving city with tons of eateries that you can frequent everyday and always have something new to try and NEVER get bored. That’s what happened when I stumbled onto the Mexican restaurant called, Minero located inside of Ponce City Market. If you have never been there, you have to stop in to try because it was simply scrumptious! I loved the atmosphere, the friendly staff, the music and the authentic Mexican food I tried.

  • Located in the historic Ponce City Market, Minero offers a casual, fun and energetic environment. An industrial space, Minero is simple, clean, and uncluttered with hardwood floors, rustic table tops, handmade iron booths, and leather banquettes. The space features an open kitchen, plus a 16-seat granite bar with iron columns and a tequila and mezcal tower. The 1000-square-foot dining space accommodates 50 for table service, along with more than 1,200-square-feet of outdoor patio. Interior designed by Michael Shewan of Michael David & Associates of Charleston, SC.

What did we order?

Chips and Guacamole $6 a tasting of verde, benne, arbol

Chopped Salad $10 tomato, radish, masa croutons, queso fresco, avocado choice of pasilla-buttermilk ranch or avocado vinaigrette dressing on the side added charcoaled chicken

  • Minero is a casual Mexican eatery from Neighborhood Dining Group, located in Atlanta’s Ponce City Market, the recently renovated historic Sears, Roebuck & Co. building. The food is affordable and served in a fun and lively environment. James Beard award-winning Chef Sean Brock offers a collection of dishes inspired by the flavors and culture of Mexico.
