My Style: Chic & Curvy Bodycon Tank Dress

I will be the first to say that I am not a fan of wearing anything with ruching unless I have a good friend or stylist standing right next to me to remind me to fix my dress when its time to take pics! Ruching rides up and gathers at the worse places possible and it can make you look crazy as heck in pictures! I normally do not like wearing any designs like this at all but this bodycon tank dress from Chic and Curvy was not too bad plus I wanted to try out my new Valentino Rockstud heels. I don’t own too many red items in my closet, so when Chic & Curvy sent me this dress, I cringed at first when I saw the ruching but tried it out anyway and I liked it! The dress also matched my heels perfectly.

It’s a super comfy cotton dress that I put on real quick to head to a friends fashion event. Once I arrived, everyone said I looked really nice and started pointing cameras in my face. Lawd, I hope they didn’t get me at a bad angle, especially when you are caught off guard and don’t remember or have time pull your dress down and fix yourself, we shall see if those photos surface yikes! Anyway it was REALLY hot yesterday evening, I think close to 95 degrees here in Atlanta, so I’m glad this dress didn’t have sleeves, it was lightweight and cool. More pics and where to find items inside!

Sidenote: My Valentino Rockstuds heels are WAY more comfier than my So Kate Christian Louboutin pumps that I think I’ve worn about three times, they hurt like heck!
