New Show: Netflix’s Indian Matchmaking

I had the pleasure of binge watching this new Netflix series called, Indian Matchmaking over the weekend and I was blown away. I saw a few of my friends talking about it on social media and I was so surprised that I would like this show. I have dear friends that are Indian, and they are my neighbors. I’ve been knowing them for years. They had an arranged marriage. My friend said he had never laid on eyes on his future wife but that he trusted his parents. He lived here in Atlanta and his future wife lived back in Pakistan. He said he was nervous but eventually when he met her they really liked each other.

They have now been married for over 10 years and have two beautiful children. I guess if it works for you then go for it, I just don’t know if I could do that but so many cultures still practice this type of arranged marriages till this day! This show was refreshing and you get to see so many things in the Indian culture and how they value love and relationships, it’s definitely a must-see for sure! Check out the trailer of Indian Matchmaker inside, it premiered on Netflix July 16th, you wanna watch this show!
