Marjorie Harvey

Gotta love Marjorie Harvey’s impeccable style! I really look up to her because she brings the heat! This time she posed for a few pics in this green and floral two-piece set ready to hit the streets. I really love how she puts her looks together from head to toe which sometimes can be quite difficult for the average gal, but she does it with so much class! My Style: Ann Taylor Draped Sheath Dress

April 28th, 2016

my style

It was a busy day in Atlanta the other day and I didn’t have time to rush back home and change into another look for a private cocktail party, so what did I do? I ran to the mall and bought a pretty dress to wear so that I didn’t have to commute ALL the way back home! If I am in the city, I try to stay in close proximity because if I have to go home, most likely I won’t come back out because the traffic is horrendous here and I wouldn’t have made it lol. So my stylist Jon and I were headed to an event when I got dressed and noticed that one side of this dress was kinda lop sided, meaning the fabric fit one side of my chest but not the other side.

We don’t know if it was meant to be this way but Jon came up with a solution where he just exposed a bit of my bra and added a Chanel brooch to make it look like it was meant to be worn that way lol. I love Jon, he’s always coming up with unique ideas. At first I was a bit weary on wearing it like that but it actually didn’t look that bad. I should have tried the dress on in the store but oh well! I loved the makeup with the dress too. More pics and were to find inside.  Read the rest of this entry »

Hair Trend: Messy Top Knot

April 28th, 2016

Top Knots

Kelly Rowland was here in town with her family the other day at the Boys and Girls Club for an event. She is such a beauty and I always love her style. I then glanced at her hair and noticed her cute messy top knot. Her hairstyle reminded me of how women wear there hair when they are in a rush or when they simply just want to give their natural hair a break. From looking on the internet, in magazines and red carpet events, it seems to be the go-to hairstyle this Spring. With the right makeup application, anyone can pull this look off too. Check out how to wear this latest hair trend with and without bangs inside… Read the rest of this entry »

My Style: Ennyluap Wide-Legged Pant Set

April 27th, 2016

I’ve had this outfit in my closet for quite some time now. I wanted to wear it to something really nice and yesterday was my chance! I had an afternoon fashion event to attend with Vogue Magazine, so I knew that I had to be somewhat stylish, so this Ennyluap two-piece look was perfect for the occasion! Jon really loved the outfit and the high waist wide legged pants were something different than my normal. Local fashion designer Amanda Williamson made this custom piece for me and her sewing skills are amazing because when it arrived, it fit like a glove. All we did was go back and forth via email. Her current Spring 2016 collection is available at select Belks stores in Atlanta. More pics and where to find inside…  Read the rest of this entry »
