Yesterday evening my friend Jon and I were able to check out Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, the smash hit Broadway musical! It was my very first time seeing it and I really liked it. Jon and I both love Broadway plays and ofcourse we were dying over all the drool worthy costumes too! I heard this years Honda Battle of the Bands was something to see! Over 63,000 spectators came out to see their favorite HBCU’s perform and it was packed out! It all went down at the Georgia Dome on Saturday right here in Atlanta! The eight bands that participated were Alabama A&M, Alcorn Sate, Bethune-Cookman, Jackson State, Lincoln University, Prairie View A&M and South Carolina State. Rapper Ludacris warmed up the crowd and during halftime, Musiq Soulchild performed along with The Dancing Dolls from Lifetime’s hit reality show, Bring It!
