Peters Path Boutique in downtown Lawrenceville,Ga
I had a great opportunity today to visit a snazzy boutique! I was on twitter as usual and I met a cutie pie by the name of Christine Peters! She invited me to the grand opening of her store in downtown Lawrenceville,Ga! I was excited to finally get an invite to a place in my neck of the woods lol!
Boutique Owners Christine Peters & Ronda Balfe
The store was very delightful and full of customers when I walked in. There is nothing like “Girl Power”, because ofcourse thats what I saw support this fabulous store…girlies everywhere shopping a way. Christine Peters and Ronda Balfe are the two partners that own the boutique. Christine is the creative person and buyer for the store, while Ronda takes care of the back end, with the money, and business part. Christine told me that she had done some missionary work in her past and that they started off selling online with their tshirts and more. They soon discovered they wanted to mix community service and a retail business, so they decided to open a store!

Christine is also a designer as well, she will be carrying her line in a few months that will be cargo pants, vests, pants, skirts, tops, wraps and more goodies. Right now, they carry different brands from local designers, imports, and cool labels that celebs have been seen around town in. For example, they carry the hottest new jeans called,DL 1961 which Halle Barry,Rihanna, and Miley Cyrus have been seen in. They also carry LTB that Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz have been spotted in. They have a variety of things in the store, like jewelry, purses, hats,Acholi Beads that are hand crafted from Uganda,Tshirts,Vases and more! They also have hand crafted pottery/sculptures by James Ferrari,it was just alot to see thats why I suggest you stop by and see for yourself! I loved it, Pinktastic!

I found something very interesting while talking with Ms.Christine. She told me every friday they have disabled adults come in and work in their store. The name of the organization is called,Creative Enterprises,Inc. I think that is soo important and very caring of them. So many people discriminate against special needs people,I am so glad to see these Womenprenuers give back and support others that are less fortunate. While In the store, my daughter Tyra pulled a lucky winner out of the basket! The lucky winner won a 50.00 gift certificate, congrats Cindy Jones!
Tyra picking lucky winner!
I met some fab women that came into the store too. Mostly all of them had their own businesses as well. I got a chance to chat with soo many of them,it was like going to an all womens convention! Authors, cartoonist, motivational speakers, artists, dancers, marathon runners,it was really a mish mosh of all sorts of people there today.I wish Christine and Ronda lots of luck with their new business, I know it will do great! Please check out the site or stop in the store! We plan on doing a meet and greet together real soon and I will let you guys know when we will have the event! Till then happy shopping!
