Pinky Review: Morton’s The Steakhouse Atlanta

HoneyChili Glazed Salmon Fillet

Honey Chili Glazed Salmon Fillet

I recently had a great dining experience at Morton’s The Steakhouse located in downtown Atlanta. My girlfriend and I met there for dinner, she was in from Los Angeles and I invited her out with me for drinks and conversation. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and from looking around, a lot of business execs frequent the establishment after work. We arrived there around 6pm and it was very cozy.  This would be a great place to go for a birthday or romantic dinner. The wait staff were extremely friendly, we got seated promptly and our waitress was very familiar with yummy items on the menu. We started off with hot tea and ginger ale then looked over the menu, it was a lot to choose from.

Baked Onion French Soup

My friend ordered the baked french onion soup, honey chilli glazed salmon while I wanted to try out the stuffed shrimp with garlic mashed potatoes and vegetables. The portions were extremely hefty, very flavorful plus we had enough food left over to warm up the next day! I will say this though, it’s a bit pricey but for some type of memorial celebration or if you just wanted to splurge, I do recommend this restaurant. Later after eating we split a molten chocolate cake that was served with vanilla ice cream, it was quite delish! In the restaurant they have a full size bar area, ample seating and I loved how you can see the Chef prepare the food eight in front of you from a mere distance. We actually stayed for awhile since we were not in a rush and the staff didn’t seem to mind. I enjoyed my experience and thinking of bringing my husband back to try it out since he enjoys steak! They do ask for a reservation as well. I had a pleasant experience and will be returning! Till next time! xoxo
