I must have missed the memo but I had no clue that we had a new cupcake place in town! I saw a fellow blogger posting pics of the grand opening of Sprinkles and I was so upset! I have a very bad sweet tooth for sure, so I had to take time to go check it out! Sprinkles is located at Lenox Mall right by the main entrance.  Yesterday I had a meeting  at the mall, so I stopped in to check out this colorful and yummy spot! It’s very art deco inside, clean and the staff was very friendly! It also comes with a cupcake ATM for after hour cravings!

I walked in and introduced myself to the staff and told them I had a blog and would love to try some of their cupcakes. They also offer, ice cream, cookies and beverages. A manager came out and greeted me then went over everything on the menu. She asked me which flavors I wanted to try. I quickly started pointing out flavors I was drooling over lol. I picked out:

Strawberry/Good

Vanilla/Yum

Maple Bacon/ Can’t tell yah because one of my kids gobbled it up, lawd!

Red Velvet/Good

I consider myself a “cupcake snob” and we have plenty of cupcake places here in Atlanta to choose from. I will say that I did enjoy the Sprinkles Cupcakes but if you like them a lil less sweet, with not a lot of icing, then this is the place for you. I did LOVE how they decorated their cupcakes and the consistency was nice. The actually cake is good but they almost taste vegan to me. I sat down with my kids and conducted a lil taste test. They liked most of them but my daughter didn’t care for the strawberry flavored one. My son said they all tasted alright. We never did get around to trying the macon bacon last night. This morning when I woke up, the macon bacon was missing! I will have to go back and get that flavor again to try lol. All and all they were not bad. Stop in if you live here or plan on visiting, so you can try them for yourself, everybody taste buds are different. I tweeted a picture last night and had a few friends/followers tell me their opinions via text some good, some bad. xoxo

Update: My son said he was the one that gobbled up the maple bacon cupcake and he said it was extremely good! The icing taste like coffee. Thanks Pootie, smh! LOL!
