Pinky Review: The Good Dinosaur #GoodDinoEvent

The Good Dinosaur

The Good Dinosaur” asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo (voice of Raymond Ochoa) makes an unlikely human friend.

While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of. Directed by Peter Sohn and produced by Denise Ream (“Cars 2”), Disney•Pixar’s “The Good Dinosaur” opens in theaters on Nov. 25, 2015. Check out my review inside…

THE GOOD DINOSAUR

Pinky Review: If you are looking for something to take your small kids to see during the Thanksgiving holiday, you may want to go check out The Good Dinosaur! A wholesome movie about friendship, family and trust. An Apatosaurus named Arlo and his unlikely human friend travel through a harsh and mysterious landscape, where Arlo learns to confront his fears, discovering what he is truly capable of. It’s a pretty funny movie that deals with a dinosaur who is trying to gain the trust of his family and to make them proud plus overcome his fears. This movie reminds me of the relationship I have with my only daughter who recently graduated from high school and is now off to beauty school. She is a bit overwhelmed with adulthood and all the responsibilities she has now. Dootie always comes to me for advice and tries really hard to make me a proud mom.

The animation, imagery and storyline is very good and easy for the kiddies to follow along. There are a few sad parts, so I suggest you take kids 6 and older. While out in Los Angeles, we got the opportunity to sit down and chat with the Director and Producer of this film(click here), that made me really want to spread the word on how cute this movie really is and much needed. Whatever age you are, we all strive to make someone proud, be it with family, your significant other or close friends. At the end of the day, its all about family anyway and its nice that Disney put this film out right in time for the holiday season when people are most caring and thoughtful. In theaters Thanksgiving day, Happy Holidays! xoxo
