Pinky Review: Who's Got Soul Southern Cafe

Its almost lunch time so I thought I would make your mouth water with this foodie post lol. I have been craving soul food for the longest time now but where I live, they are far and in between! We don’t even have a decent bbq restaurant by me and I’m often left disappointed when I do find a place. I was at an event recently and my friend Chef Keith Kash was telling me that he recently opened a few more locations with his restaurants. I was so happy for him. We go way back and I was introduced to him by Lisa Wu a few years ago. He was her private chef.

Thats when a light bulb went off in my head and I remembered that he had a restaurant located not too far from me. I headed out to Duluth,Ga to try his restaurant out again. Chef Keith Kash owns Who’s Got Soul Southern Cafe and the food is delicious! If you love soul food, then you have to try his restaurant and everything reminds me of back home.

Anything you order on the menu is freshly cooked to order, very huge proportions and must I add, flavorful! Each bite got better and better! My daughter ordered the catfish with yams, mac n cheese, fried corn, corn muffin. I ordered the baked chicken with the same sides and greens. Some of the most popular things on the menu are the catfish, ox-tails and all the sides. The menu pretty much stays the same daily. They are also open for dinner as well. My meal costs about $8 and some change but you should have enough leftover for dinner too, I got full pretty quickly. The desserts were amazing too, they offer freshly baked cakes plus the classic peach cobbler and banana pudding. The restaurant is very clean and has been newly remodeled. You can order ahead of time and pick up or you can sit to dine in. Thanks Chef Keith Kash for allowing me to come by, we enjoyed everything! xoxo
