Product Review: African Pride's Olive Miracle Line - Talking With Tami

Product Review: African Pride’s Olive Miracle Line

February 6th, 2011

I got a fab product in the mail and I wanted to share it with you guys! First off, it has been crappy outside and I do no have a relaxer. I was in between salon visits and my hair was looking a hot mess. I remembered African Pride sent me a box of goodies to try and I quickly got to work. I am the type of girl that stays at the salon because I have a lot of hair and it’s tiresome for me.

It was a rainy night so I decided to stay in and do my own hair, clinching pearls lol. The Olive Miracle Line they gave me included the Moisture Lotion, Leave in Conditioners, Sheen Spray, Anti-Breakage Formula, Growth Oil, 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner and 2 boxes of Relaxer. I loved the packaging and while reading, I knew this was going to be great for my hair because its winter time and with that comes dryness and breakage.

I first started off washing my hair. When I used a dime size of the 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner my hair lathered up on the first try. Usually it takes my thick hair 2 washings to get it to lather up but this shampoo was rich in lather and it smelled divine!

I washed my hair twice then put in the leave in conditioner. I combed that through then braided my hair to the back.I wanted a natural curly look till I could get to the beauty salon plus my hubby loves my hair wild and curly lol. I let that dry till the next morning and then took the braids out.I used the Anti-breakage formula on my scalp, and ran the growth oil through my hair. At the end my hair came out kinda cute.

I would like to thank African Pride for sending the product to me, I love it and will be trying on my daughter too. She helped me a lot lol. Oh guys, go to African Pride’s Facebook Page and “like” it because they’ll be giving away the whole product line three times weekly for the next five weeks! Also March 16th, they will kick off the My Pride, My Way campaign. You can follow African Pride on twitter too @myafricanpride.
