I can’t believe I stayed up to watch the entire Oscars last night but it was a beautiful thing! It moved along quickly and I loved Ellen as the host! She was funny and I got a kick out of her taking a selfie with A-List actors in the audience, then when they retweeted the photo…it crashed Twitter, too funny! Everyone looked amazing and a big congrats goes out to Lupita Nyongo for winning Best Supporting Actress for her role in 12 Years a Slave! She looked really lovely in her custom “Nairobi Blue” Prada dress. I was expecting something with more wow factor but it worked for her. I really loved her acceptance speech too when she said, “When I look down at this gold statue, may it remind me and every little child, that no matter where you’re from, your dreams are valid.” The movie also won for Best Picture as well!
