On September 10,2012, Rollimg Out magazine in conjunction with CVS/Pharmacy Beauty Club debuted the 2012 Mirror Mirror Awards in Atlanta,Ga. The swanky affair was held at The Indigo Bar hosted by Atlantas’ own Rashawn Ali with tunes provided by DJ Tracy Steele.The V.I.P. reception and award ceremony honored Atlanta’s tastemakers,trendsetters and leaders in the beauty industry as well as beauty and fashion icons! Your girl was in the building to partake in the festivities! I was honored to be a honoree!
According to Rolling Out, the 2012 Mirror Mirror honorees included Grammy -award winning singer/actress/spokesperson Chilli, Supermodel Cynthia Bailey (BRAVO/RHOA), Grammy-award winning songwriter Kandi Buruss (BRAVO/RHOA), hit songwriter Tiny (VH1/The Family Hustle), NY Times best-selling author and TV personality Toya Wright, President/CEO of Bronners Bros., Bernard Bronner, fashion and entertainment blogger Tammie Reed, Myleik Teele, Lois Reid-Hines, Derek J, Terrance Terry, Taliah Waajid, Reggie Marble, Erica Richardson, Shenipa Crawley, Dr. Alvetta Peterman Thomas and Kimberly Walker.
I loved the event and the trophy is heavy and gorg! I truly have a special place in my heart with my love of beauty and fashion! I love the industry and making people look and feel their best!
