While attending the #LuckyFabb event (which was fabulous by the way), I had NO idea that actress Soleil Moon Frye was on the panel till later on lol. I loved her hit tv sitcom in the 80′s called,Punky Brewster! With her bright and colorful outfits, I was always tuned in to watch that fun tv show! She now is married with two kids, an author, media expert, entrepreneur, and eco-leader. I loved her chin-length bob, really thinking about cutting my hair this year. Frye along with my friend Alli Webb(owner of Drybar) and Founding Partner of Urban Decay Wende Zomnir talked about how they became entrepreneurs on the panel. xoxo
Soleil talked about her love for social media and what she has been doing since Punky Brewster. She has a new book out called, Soleil Moon Frye Happy Chaos and a fun website named after herself.
Alli shared her experience about being a stay-at-home mom but wanting to start a business. She later created Drybar with her hubby & brother. Now she has a chain of salons throughout the country. She said many people would try to tell her what she should include in her salons but she just wanted a place where you could get a great blowout.I interviewed her here in Atlanta at the grand opening in Buckhead. She is so sweet and I love the atmosphere in her salon(click here).
One of the founders of Urban Decay Makeup Wende Zomnir talked about staying true to her brand with it’s edgy feel and bold pigments with her line of makeup. I time to time review her makeup line! I love their eyeshadows! The ladies were great and did a great job! Later on Alli and I snapped a quick photo together. xoxo
