I was headed out to speak to some fashion students at The Art Institute of Atlanta-Decatur the other day and I asked my daughter Dootie what should I wear. She said, “mom keep it really business casual”. She pointed to this green dress that was hanging in my closet. I said, “hmm, Dootie, I think you’re right, I will wear this cute dress, I think it’s perfect for the occasion!”

It’s from a designer that I introduced you guys to the other day named Wanda Grace. She makes some really cute outfits and although the dress looks totally different on the model, I think more curvier girls really bring this dress to life! Ha! Everyone at the school really loved my outfit and I am so glad that it was sent to me to wear for a style post! It’s really slim-fitting but has a lot of stretch in it believe it or not! I can see wearing a dress like this for a business meeting, luncheon or on a dinner date. I really love the off-the-shoulder detail, which is my fav if you haven’t figured that out by now lol. I paired my dress with Zara studded sandals that’s old and have been in my closet forever. Not sure why I don’t wear them more. This dress is called, Malorie and retails for $169. xoxo

Sidenote: I’m so proud of my daughter Dootie who did my hair & makeup! She starts her cosmetology classes this Fall during her senior year in high school! I must say that my baby is truly gifted but she has been around the beauty industry since she was born, she got it honest lol! I love her so, thanks Dootie for glamming mama up! She’s a bad girl, can you guys imagine what she will be like in 5 years? She’s a beast already! xoxo
