I was online the other day looking at some old pics of the kids. I remember when my son came home from school one day so excited about a contest they were having. He wanted to participate in the film category. The hairs on my back stood up as I sat up in the bed and looked over the paper work.
I didn’t want to seem controlling, so I asked my son what ideas did he have for his school project. He said he would love to do something with dogs. Lil Terrell loves animals and I thought that would be a great fit for him.
I have a lot of buddies in film and tv, so I thought to call my friend who has a youtube channel that does all these cool tricks with his dogs. His name is Zak George. We went and met up with Zak and his lovely dogs Venus, Alpha and Nova at the park.
Now if anyone knows me, I’m not an animal lover but I quickly adapted well to the border collies lol. Venus was the head of the bunch showing my son tricks, fetching freesbies and jumping over Zak’s back and let’s not forget the hand stand lol. I couldn’t believe the dogs could do all of those fab tricks lol.
My son helped with shooting the footage,taking pictures, plus he did the voiceover work for the clip. I was so proud of him and If I am not mistaken he was in the 2nd grade when he did this. Let’s just say that my son won first place! Zak now has landed a popular tv show on Animal Planet called, SuperFetch and I’m so proud of him! He airs Saturdays at 8pm, check him out sometimes!
