My name is Tammie Reed, aka Talking With Tami. I’m a professional lifestyle/fashion/beauty blogger living in Atlanta, Georgia. I’m married with two kids. I was a stay-at-home mom before my family transitioned to the South in 2005 and it was the best thing we could have ever done! Shorty afterwards, I started my own TV show, then a few years later, I launched my own award-winning blog TalkingWithTami.com, which attracts more than 2 million readers monthly! I’m flown to red carpet events, I work with thousands of brands and PR companies, interview celebrities daily, and I host many parties and events.

I’ve been featured in numerous publications, make guest TV appearances, and have hosted many grand affairs. I’ve made TalkingWithTami a brand and I inspire so many now! My greatest accomplishment today was meeting and lunch-ing with the great media mogul herself, Oprah Winfrey! I will be featured in a new documentary called Light Girls directed by Bill Duke that will air on the OWN network this Fall as well as being published in a new coffee table book titled Dark Girls, a spin-off from that popular and very controversial documentary. I’m living my dream!

Reflections of Style
The World According to Tammie Reed

GO-TO OUTFIT
My “go-to” outfit would be any kind of fabulous dress! I find dresses very comfortable and not much thought process has to go into picking out something to wear. All I have to do is grab shoes and sparkly accessories and I’m out the door!

FASHION REGRETS
Some of my fashion regrets were when I first moved to Atlanta and started my TV show. I wore some dreadful outfits and I didn’t really know how to dress for the camera or my body type. Now over the years, my personal style has really evolved; so glad!

FASHION / STYLE INSPIRATION
My fashion/style inspiration is Rihanna because she is daring and bold with her fashion choices! You always want to know what she is wear- ing, who made it, and how you can then achieve that same look.

ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE YOUR YOUNGER SELF
Advice that I would give my younger self: Always, always invest in great shape wear and undergarments! It will make or break an outfit for sure!

YOUR STYLE PHILOSOPHY
My style philosophy is to have fun with fashion! Always wear what makes you happy and what puts a smile on your face! Own it and have fun with it!

BEST ADVENTURE IN LIFE
My best adventure in life has been raising my two teens! It gets to be challenging at times but I find it very rewarding! This stage in their lives is so important right now with social media, etc., out there, and I’m so glad that I’m here to guide them. I live through them vicariously and have so much fun with my kids. They keep me young and on top of what’s hot or not! They often ask me for my mommy advice and I talk to both of them about anything and everything. They truly appreciate my honesty. I love them both so much!

FAVORITE GUILTY PLEASURE
My favorite guilty pleasure is shopping. It really relaxes me and makes me feel good. I am just addicted to all things sparkly, eye-catching, and fabulous! My husband has gotten used to me shopping after sixteen years of marriage, so he has set me up with my own shopping fund, so I can be happy as a lamb!

WORDS YOU LIVE BY
Words I live by is to live your life “Pinktastically.” Fulfill all your dreams and aspirations! xoxo.
