Saturday morning I headed over to the Atlanta History Museum in Buckhead to moderate the Female Success Factor,The Digital S.H.E. It was a very informative event with guest speakers JaKathryn Ross,Sunni Hickman,Leeza Byers,Amanda White,Faylene Bell and Sonja Williams. As women arrived at the event they got a chance to chat on camera with our Deputy Editor Zondra Hughes at the Talking Pretty Social Media Lounge and they could browse the vendors that displayed jewelry, fashions and more. Later,the ladies made their way into the auditorium. I played a little welcoming game by picking out women with fabulous shoes in the audience and had them come up on stage and proceed with a fun shoe-off! It was a lot of fun and we gave away t-shirts, paintings from publisher Munson Steed, great door prizes,raffles and more! It was great to hear the panelists speak about the digital age. Leeza Byers who is the President of Byers Workforce Solutions said employers are going to the internet more and more to look at what you are talking about online, what’s your presence there and do’s and don’ts via twitter and facebook. After the panel discussion the ladies enjoyed lunch and the next set of panelists spoke and more giveaways were handed out.I had to scoot to another affair but check out the photos I shot while there.
