It’s about time! I had the pleasure of being in the same room as Editor At Large for Vogue Andre Leon Tally as he received an award in NYC during NYC fashion week a few months back. He was a diva for sure and that makes for great tv! It’s reported that he will have his very own reality show on Bravo soon! You may have seen him in his flamboyant couture capes as a judge on Americas Next Top Model but now all the shine will be on him!
Here’s the T! According to a release, the show will “follow four up-and-coming fashion design teams as they produce the defining collection of their careers, all under the watchful eye of fashion icon Andre Leon Talley. The mission to ‘create, show and sell’ is clear for emerging designers striving to build a business in New York City, which remains the heart of the fashion industry.”
The title is still sketchy but it’s said to be called either, Fashion Stories of NYC or All About Andre, which sounds horrible to me but ok! I don’t care what the heck they name it, as long as I can see great fashion! There is said to be some sort of debate too with assorted fashion gawds that will make guest appearances. There is a slew of fashion reality shows on the air right now,let’s hope this is better than that show Fashion Star argh! xoxo
