I went to a tea over the weekend and was scrambling trying to find something to wear. Me trying to find something to wear is kinda funny to type because I do have a lot of clothing but sometimes you just don’t want to wear what’s hanging in the closet right? I headed to my local thrift store and rummaged around and came across this pretty velvet dress made by New York Dress. I liked the style of it and it went with some tall suede boots I had in my closet, it was keeper. I paid $5 for it and was on my way to the cleaners. I got it out just in time to wear to a ladies luncheon and lots of ladies wanted to know where I got it and I said its thrift girl! You just never know what you’re going to find in thrift stores, you have to have a keen eye for the nice stuff and browse through mounds of clothing but eventually you will find something!
